the Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (3.5 Stars)

I liked the beavers.

They were so cute and fluffy. :)

It was a film for audiences younger than the Harry Potter ones, in my opinion. I have not read the books yet, but the film, this film, seemed common. Those weird factors in the Harry Potter series you could not find in it. After all, it was a story of human beings and animals, and the Harry Potter plot was between two human powers, so you could expect the former one to be cartoon-like and the later one get more machinations and human nature involved in.

The battle scenes were impressive. I expect such scenes to appear in the Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows film, but the Narnia battles are medieval, and we are wizards with wands and distant spells in the HP world, so there should be an obviouce difference. No matter, because we should have Lord Voldemort to enhance all!

I dispise Warner Bros' delaying Half-blood Prince until this summer. They have destroyed the magic.
